Wars

No ceasefire

And it does not bother Beijing and Moscow one bit

President Trump is in a panic mode. He has, for example, thrown his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, his Special Envoy to Peace Missions, Steve Witkoff, and his Secretary for War, Pete Hegseth, under the bus by claiming that the decision to attack Iran was based on their advice (he did mention something like this before the war, though). He also called President Putin to discuss the wars in Iran and Ukraine. Iran also reported multiple calls for a ceasefire communicated through back-channels.

Iran has responded that they are “no longer looking for a ceasefire.” Who can really blame them?

President Trump stabbed the Iranian leadership in the back, two times, and killed their leader. Iranians are fighting something of a holy war now with the aim of disarming Israel and driving the U.S. out of the Middle East. Mediation through Beijing and Moscow is also useless because both are benefitting from the current situation in their own ways, but they also have mutual aims.
