Hi,

I'm a new subscriber, and this was the first article I read. I am not disappointed.

Paradoxically perhaps, I turned to the subject that I know the best, the whole Russia thing. Not because I am Russian or have ever even been there, but because I am studying the language (recently tested at B1.1 on the european scale). I thus can read, with some effort, Russian-language sites. I like that Mr. Malinen appears to know Russian as well, for example, translating various Russian terms.

I live in western Europe (Belgium) and am also worried about the cost and availability of electricity and gas in the coming winter. Are the EU and the USA willing to simply let us freeze? Will doing so bring Putin to his knees when he can sell enough to non-sanctioning countries to stay afloat? So far, it doesn't look as if sanctions have any deterrent effect at all; they simply make our political leadership look incompetent and contemptuous of their own populations (witness the recent statement of the German foreign minister, which was even more dismissive than "let them eat cake".

NATO chief admits that NATO allies have been training and arming Ukraine since 2014.

Something to remember whenever Western media refers to an "unprovoked" invasion.

2014- Coup détat on Maidan, Crise in Crimea - and the start of East Ukraine war.

Ukraine is massive money laundering machine for the globalists.

President Putin referred to Bill Clinton's adviser, Polish-born Zbigniew Brzezinski on his recent news conference following visit to Uzbekistan ( 16th of September 2022)

Here is what Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote on his "Grand Chessboard":

"Ukraine, a new and important space on the Eurasian chessboard, is a geopolitical pivot because its very existence as an independent country helps to transform Russia. Without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be a Eurasian empire..."

.........

However, Russians are master chess players.

Thank You for this highly interesting analys.True, Vladimir Putin is a strategist.

If somebody is interested in president Putin's personality and vues, Oliver Stone's "Putin

Interviews" parts 1-4 is absolutely fascinating film project.

Made during two years on Kreml.

Stone has also made remarkable documents on Ukraine: "Ukraine on Fire " and "Ukraine revealed."

Interestingly enough, Stone himself is a Vietnam war veteran and wanted to prevent this escalation that he already saw coming on 2018.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your analysis : I find your "Putin plays Ukraine as a proxy" theory very convincing.

Just to add two elements coherent with your analysis :

- The likely outcome of US mid-terms on Nov. 8th: should the Republicans win, it's very likely the US support to Ukraine will decrease. Especially since there's a high possibility that some unconfortable facts on Hunter / Ukraine become public.

- The possibility that a Russian offensive would be backed by a Belarussian/ Russian offensive from the North, distracting Ukr forces and creating a logistical nightmare.

Always nice to read from you !

Best,

J.

Hello Hardy,

Thank you, and allow me to apologize for the USA, the primary inciter of war for the last century.

Perhaps Germany will be forced to see reason. As Old Bismarck once advised, "make a good treaty with Russia"; maybe someone will heed that advice.

According to news agencies electricity in UA is almost 30 % of short supply. Many countries including the US and the EU (generators of hope) deliver gensets to UA in order to prepare for de-centralized power generation. I really hope they've planned the fuel supply & spareparts maintenance logistics. There is real danger of "Lebanon 2021" style grid collapse.
